Hello guys! Today is time to have the first blog about a Netflix series called “Biohackers” first time launched in August 2020 and renewed for season 2 on 9 July.
“Biohackers” is a German thriller divided into 2 seasons of 6 episodes each other. Is created by Christian Ditter and the main character is Luna Wedler as Emma Engels.
The short story of the first season begin with Emma as a medical student in Freiburg. Initially she seemed to be an innocent girl, coming to become a great doctor, to make new friends and a boyfriend. But what do you think is the real purpose?
Secrets from the past
Well, appearances can be deceptive. The real purpose of the young student is to revenge her brother death and also make justice for other patients. All of them were the victims of an experiment operated by Dr. Lorenzo. That physician is an gifted hand person, but sometimes use is talent to become famous.
During the season, Emma is collaborating with a journalist who promise to help, but he’s really a man who promise to be? Well, you’ll see.
My conclusions
In my opinion is a great series, with a lot of upheavals. The bad guys may be the good ones and the good character seems to be a villain.
The introduction may be boring but from the third episode, the series become more suspenseful. At least I watched the rest of the episodes with great interest.
But of course the series has also negative parts. I wish I could have a more detailed story about Emma’s and her brother childhood and Dr Lorenzo experiment. These facts are mentioned in a few scenes. For example I would like to know how the little boy died and how that experiments affected him. But who knows, I’m waiting for this in season 2.
Also the ending was expected. A student who works for Lorenzo realized how much he was lied and the journalist has also hidden purpose. It hasn’t got something special, but makes the intro for season 2.
But for now I think it’s enough. After I’ll watch the season 2 I’ll tell you my honest impression and of course STREAM OR SKIP.
